When You Need Underground Plumbing Work

- a broken sewer lateral announces itself with sewage odors outdoors, unusually green stripes in the lawn, sinkholes forming along the pipe path, or repeated main line backups that clear and return; a damaged gas line is an emergency you smell, and the utility shuts it off until a licensed contractor repairs it.

What the Process Looks Like
Underground work done right follows a strict sequence. We start with utility locating, calling in USA North 811 marks so existing gas, electric, water, and communication lines are identified before any bucket touches soil.
- We then plan the trench route and depth to code for the line type, coordinating permits with the local building department. Excavation follows, using our own trenching and excavation equipment, which means we control the schedule instead of waiting on a rental or subcontractor.
- New lines are laid on proper bedding, sloped correctly for drainage lines, pressure-tested or leak-tested as the code requires, and inspected before any soil goes back. Backfill is placed and compacted in lifts to prevent the settlement that cracks hardscape and re-breaks pipe.
- For repairs, we excavate precisely at the failure point, replace the damaged section with modern material, and restore the surface as close to original as conditions allow.
